SUMMARY:Opting for the Power of nonviolence over the “Logic” of Violence
DESCRIPTION:“In the midst of the many challenges facing our world at this time\, including widespread armed conflict\, division among peoples\, and the challenges of forced migration\, efforts to promote Nonviolence are all the more necessary.” (Pope Leo XIV) \nMuch of geopolitics today\, as well as the reality of individual countries\, is marked by violence viewed as a route to peace. In the Asia Pacific\, too\, despite its legacy of ahimsa\, and other pathways\, many are hurt by conflict. Pax Christi’s Catholic Nonviolence Initiative (CNI) points a way to peaceful and ethical living.
