DESCRIPTION:  \nWollongong Against War and Nukes has been chosen for a two-week activist residency at Wollongong Art Gallery as part of the ‘Greetings from Wollongong’ exhibition! \nWe’ll be turning the space into an activist hub! DESCRIPTION:Religions for Peace Australia\, New Zealand\, Japan and Religions for Peace Asia will observe the 80th Anniversary of the Atomic Bombs with a special two-day event with presenters from many nations. There will be two meetings (Zoom) to remember and acknowledge the past and its continuing legacies\, to raise awareness of the escalating dangers of future nuclear threats\, and to initiate and promote religious\, spiritual\, and moral responses of the participating countries. \nZoom Registration: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/9wo10mYFRLaPU-DBMNbihw \nDay 1: August 3: Victims of Nuclear Weapons and Testing \nThis initial session will introduce the atomic bombings of August 1945\, and the devastating impacts on life and environment in Japan.
