UNAA presentation: Women, and Youth Peace and Security

This Session will describe the activities being undertaken by UNAA NSW to promote the UN WPS and YPS programs. It will include an introduction to the Peace and Security Pillar by the Vice President UNAA NSW, Tim Ford AO, followed by the launch of a new video describing progress of the Women Peace and Security Program in Australia and the Region, including actions by DFAT and Defence to support the National Action Plan.
This Event will then also include an outline of a recent Youth Peace and Security workshop undertaken in coordination with UN Youth NSW and provide a summary of the actions that young Australians recommend to support international peace and security.
