Wednesday 6 August – 80^th Anniversary of the Bombing of Hiroshima

8.45 – 9.50   Livestreaming from Hiroshima of the commemoration of the 80^th anniversary, including a minute’s silence at 9.15.
10.00 – 11.00 Onsite commemoration, including and address by the Japanese Consul or his representative.
1.30 – 3.00   Seminar: What does it mean to have a peace clause (Article 9) in a national Constitution, as Japan does?
3.45 – 4.00 Silent vigil/ contemplation/ meditation for peace.
