This 13th annual Brisbane lecture marks the United Nations International Day of Peace. The horror of the war against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank continues to violate the lives of men women and children, most significantly in Gaza where more than 40000 people have lost their lives and 90000 have been seriously injured.

Nasser Mashni President Australian Palestine Advocacy Network Nasser is the son of a Palestinian refugee. He is a co-founder of Australians For Palestine and a founding board member of Olive Kids. With his father’s legacy in mind, Nasser is determined to continue the struggle for justice and a free Palestine.

The event is hosted by the United Nations Association Australia Queensland, St John’s Cathedral, Griffith University, University of Qld and Just Peace Qld Inc and will be live at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane, and streamed online.
